Facilities workers might not enter a room to make repairs or spray for pests if a pet is current. Visiting pets usually are not allowed in residence at any time, even in pet-friendly areas. Any pet residing on campus must be no less than one year old and have lived with the coed or student’s household for no less than ten months previous to campus residency to make sure proper acclimation. Pets acquired, both bought, adopted, or as a stray through the interval of student enrollment must meet those same criteria.
Living on a farm with five different species, including chickens and canine, has convinced me of an animal’s proper to position, too. The animal research movement has been enormously useful in reminding us that distinctions between humans and other species should not easy; they are no more natural than different ways through which folks have sought to construct difference, corresponding to race or gender norms.
