Is Animal Planet’s Fatal Attractions Fair?

It’s time that men and women start off discussing the subject of ‘exotic pets’ without the common misconceptions gleaned from different films, rescue ‘sanctuaries’, and the common attitude that gains momentum by means of misinformation and baseless worry. Sloths are not pets – they are wild animals – they belong in Rainforests and Cloudforests – don’t collude with illegal animal trafficking – there are no breeding centres for selling sloths in Central or South America – any sloth will have been take from the wild.

It is not realistic to assume that all cat keepers are conscious of the commitment involved that must be carried out with all pets in captivity—in fact most folks view cats as ‘easy care’ pets that never call for a lot interest from the owner.

Many officials are most likely intimidated by the flourishing diversity of animals that can be kept as pets in the United States, and it isn’t as well tough to convince them to eradicate this market, particularly when it isn’t linked to a lucrative enterprise (circuses, roadside zoos, ect.).
