The domestication of canines, bred from their wolf ancestors, is the process that has undergone probably the most scrutiny. Without going too deeply into the history and philosophy of domestication, it’s thought that dogs have been originally domesticated (no less than once, if not multiple occasions) between 10,000 and 33,000 years ago in Asia.
People may think certain breeds of canines are “hypoallergenic,” but a really non-allergic dog or cat doesn’t exist. Your pets’ habits could change after an emergency a normally quiet or pleasant pet may turn into aggressive or defensive.
